ZAMORA, TORO, SANABRIA AND THE DUERO (3 DAYS)

DAY 1 MADRID – TORO – ZAMORA

Meeting at agreed upon place and departure for Toro, where we will visit the temple de San Lorenzo the Real, one of the constructions mudéjares mejor conserveds. We will continue with the Collegiate Church of Saint Mary Major, the Plaza Mayor and Tour of a typical wine cellar. Lunch. Continuation to Zamora and visita including the Cathedral from the 12th century, the most representative of the Zamoran monuments. Also we will see the former garden of the castle, the wall, the Church of Saint Ildefonse and of the Magdalena, Church of Saint John, Plaza Mayor. Continuation to the hotel. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 2 ZAMORA – SANABRIA – ZAMORA

Breakfast. Departure for Puebla de Sanabria, Head of the region, as well as the economic and touristic nucleus next to the emblematic Lake of Sanabria. Its irregular slate roofs, sonte façades  and wooden corredors stand out. Lunch.  Continuation to the Natural Park of the Lake of Sanabria, created in 1978 and with the main objective of preserving the morphology that the glaciars from the Quaternary Period carved from the rocks, the richness of its flora and fauna, and the purity of the waters of the only glaciar lake on the Iberian Penninsula. Return to the hotel. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 3 ZAMORA – RIBERA DEL DUERO – MADRID

Breakfast and departure for Ribera del Duero to take an environmental cruise of the most peculiar natural areas naturales in the Penninsula. Lunch and departure for Madrid. END OF TRIP
