DAY 1 MADRID – MILAN – FLORENCE
Meeting in Madrid-Barajas Airport to leave on a flight to Milan. Arrival and transfer to Florence: Transfer to the hotel. Check in. Dinner and lodging
DAY 2 FLORENCE
Breakfast. Morning panoramic tour of the city “Birthplace of the Renaissance”, situated on the banks of the Arno River, in which we highlight: the Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Baptistery with the Doors of Paradise, Giotto’s Campanile, the Church of the Holy Cross (Pantheon of the great artists of the Renaissance), the Piazza della Signoria, the lovely Ponte Vecchio, etc. Lunch and afternoon free. Formal dinner with music in directo (DJ), 2 hours of dancing and open bar. Lodging
DAY 3 FLORENCE – (Excursion to Pisa)
Breakfast. Morning excursion to Pisa, a small city that has managed to conserve numerious proofs of the past grandeur of the former Seafaring Republic and its University. Visit of the outside of the Piazza del Campo, also known as “Field of the Miracles”, complex made up of the Duomo, the Baptistery, the Cementery and the Bell tower (or Leaning Tower). Lunch. Return to Florence. Afternoon Technical meeting. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 4 FLORENCE- CHIANTI REGION (Excursion to Siena)
Breakfast. Departure for the Chianti Region. Arrival to typical Borgo in Tuscany. Once in the Borgo, we will take a stroll. Lunch in the borgo. Afternoon departure for Siena and city tour, perfect example of a medieval city with its characteristic ochre color. Its old town, built over three hills and surrounded by walls of surprising amplitude, is formed by alleyways that converge in the Piazza del Campo, one of the loveliest medieval squares in Europe, with its shell forms, scenery of the celebrated horse races of Il Palio. Return to the Borgo. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 5 CHIANTI REGION(Excursion to San Gimignano)
Breakfast. In the morning we will have a wine tasting or a Italian cooking class. Lunch. Afternoon departure for San Gimignano, medieval town situated between the vineyards and the hills of Tuscany. In its skyline we can see outlines of palaces and church towers. Walking through its alleyways borderd by old palaces one arrives to the Cistern Square, where the Duomo, consecrated in 1148 and decorated with frescos de Gozzoli, Bartolo di Fredi and Domenico GhIrelandio, stand outs. Return to the borgo. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 6 REGION OF THE CHIANTI–ROME -MADRID
Breakfast. Morning transfer to Rome airport to leave on a flight to Madrid. Arrival. END OF TRIP
