LA FIESTA DE LA MATANZA (3 DAYS)

DAY 1 MADRID  – CANDELARIO

Meeting at agreed upon place and departure for Candelario. Arrival and welcome reception with drink. Lunch with tasting of the typical meal “Calderillo” and Somarro a la brasa. After lunch time to visit this lovely town. Merienda – Dinner based on Grilled tail, ear and snout and ribs. Followed by Sopa Castellana. Lodging.

DAY 2 CANDELARIO  – SIERRA DE FRANCIA -CANDELARIO

Breakfast. Morning departure for La Alberca crossing the Sierra de Francia, so called due to the French colongy that settled in this area to repopulate the province after the Reconquest in 1085.  It has its epicenter in the Peña de Francia, from where can be seen a great part of the province of Salamanca with some marvelous views. Free time and return to Candelario. Lunch: Chorizo Ibérico, beans from the area, grilled beef and dessert. In the afternoon excursion to Guijuelo where if  posible we will visit a ham dessicator. Return to Candelario. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 3 CANDELARIO –MIRANDA DEL CASTAÑAR – MADRID

Breakfast. Morning tour of Miranda of the Castañar, an encounter with nature and a stroll that will not leave us indifferent. The small town of Miranda del Castañar has maintained its beauty From for more than five centuries. Lunch and Continuation to Madrid. Arrival and  END OF TRIP
