DAY 1 MADRID – VENICE – OPATIJA Departure on a regular flight to Venice. Arrival to Airport of Venice. Meeting with the accompanying guide and transfer to Opatija, city founded in the Middle Ages. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 2 OPATIJA – PLITVICE – SPLIT Breakfast and departure for Plitvice. Tour of the National Park of Plitvice where the sixteen lakes are connected by 92 waterfalls and cascades. Thanks to its impressive beauty and to the richness of its flora and fauna, this region was declared national park and catalogued UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch. Then trip to Split. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 3 SPLIT – MEDJUGORJE – DUBROVNIK Breakfast. Tour of Split. The Diocletian Palace (dating from the 3rd century and reformed in the Middle Ages), the Cathedral of Saint Duje (the patron saint of Split) and the Temple of Jupiter form part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Departure for Medjugorje, one of the largest centers of Marian piligrimage in the world. Lunch. Short tour and departure for Dubrovnik. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 4 DUBROVNIK Breakfast. Full day tour with lunch of the famous “Pearl of the Adriatic”. The old city, UNESCO World Heritage Site surrounded by 1940 meters of Gothic and Renaissance walls, guards in its interior numerous churches and Renaissance palaces constructed in the 16th century. Minceta, the largest tower in the mainland area of the wall of Dubrovnik and the best preserved in Europe, is a masterpiece of the Renaissance that served as a defense for the citizens. We will also visit the oldest pharmacy in the world. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 5 DUBROVNIK – MOSTAR – SARAJEVO Breakfast and departure for Mostar, former capital of Herzegovina, surrounded by arid and abrupt mountains. The city of Mostar represents an incredible mixture of the Mediterranean, oriental and Byzantine cultures, through which the Neretva River passes. Tour of the symbol of the city, “The Old Bridge”, constructed with stone in the 16th century. Destroyed in the year 1993 in the war “patria” of Yugoslavia, it was reconstructed with the help of Europe in the year 2004. Lunch. Afternoon departure for Sarajevo. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 6 SARAJEVO – BELGRADE Breakfast. Tour of Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The tour will present dramatic curiosities of the city that survived three years of war and fights, as well as the picturesque bazar “Bas Carsija” and the Husref Beg Mosque and Olympic Stadium. The tour may also include the “Tunnel of Life”. Lunch. Afternoon departure for Belgrade. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 7 BELGRADE Breakfast. Morning tour of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Belgrade is situated on the confluence of the Sava and Danube Rivers, and it is one of the oldest cities of Europe. The regular tour will take you through the ancient nuclei: Kalemegdan Fortress and Park, the palace Princess Ljubica, the Orthodox Church and Terazije, the most popular square in Belgrade got its shape 200 years ago. Lunch. In the afternoon you can also visit Skadarlija, the Bohemian neighborhood of Belgrade. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 8 BELGRADE – ZAGREB Breakfast. Departure for Zagreb. Lunch en route. Afternoon arrival in Zagreb. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 9 ZAGREB – LJUBLJANA Breakfast. Complete tour, with lunch, of the city. The tour includes a walk through the historic center “Gornji Grad” with its famous Cathedral from the 12th century, connected to the the low city by a funicular, the Church of Saint Mark, King Tomislav Square, where the monument to the Croatian king by the same name, work of the sculptor Robert Franges, can be found. Lunch. Departure for Ljubljana. Afternoon walking tour of Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia, that includes the Baroque cathedral, the “Three bridges” and “Mestni trg” Square. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 10 LJUBLJANA – POSTOJNA – BLED – LJUBLJANA Breakfast. Journey to Postojna to tour the famous Postojna Cave, the largest visitable cave in the world. The visit will be made in a tourist train. Departure for Bled, a city situated at the feet of the Julian Alps, on the banks of a lovely lake with emerald green water, which gives it its name. Lunch. Passage in gondolas to the island. Continuation of the tour of Bled Castle, from where one can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the lake with its picturesque island in the center, and of its surroundings. Return to the hotel. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 11 LJUBLJANA – VENICE – MADRID Breakfast. Transfer at the designated time to the Airport of Venice to embark on regular flight to Madrid. Arrival in Madrid and END OF TRIP
