DAY 1 MADRID Arrival in Madrid and meeting with the accompanying guide. Transfer to the hotel and free time. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 2 MADRID Breakfast. In the morning, we will take a panoramic tour of the city, becoming acquainted with emblemtic corners such as the Puerta del Sol. Then tour of the Royal Palace, official residence of the kings of Spain, although currently this building only houses ceremonies of State. Then we will visit the Prado Museum, whose corridors house some of the most important art works of Spain by the internationally most known artists like Velázquez, Goya, El Greco, etc. In the afternoon, we will visit Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 3 MADRID – EXCURSION TO TOLEDO Breakfast. Morning city tour de Toledo, known for having been the capital of Spain and one of the oldest cities in Europe. It is made up of various monuments built by different cultures: Jewish, Arabic, Christian. This city was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Return to Madrid. Free time. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 4 MADRID – LOGROÑO – PAMPLONA Breakfast. Departure for Logroño. Famous for the production of Rioja Wine, it is also a city rich in history and traditions that have been preserved since the Middle Ages. Following St. James’ Way through the city, we will discover the most picturesque corners and the most relevant monuments. After the visit, we will have a wine tasting. We will continue our journey on to Pamplona. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 5 PAMPLONA – BIARRITZ – SAN SEBASTIAN Breakfast. In the morning we will visit the city known for its festivities of San Fermín. We will take a panoramic tour of Pamplona, we will see emblemtic places like Castle Square, the historic center, and the Gothic Cathedral. Departure for Biarritz, on of the most elegant tourist center on the Basque coast. This town boasts one of the best beaches in Europe, popular with both the tourists and the surfers. It has been a residence for the British royal family and the high society of Europe. Continuation to San Sebastián, surrounded by green mountains. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 6 SAN SEBASTIAN – EXCURSION TO ZARAUTZ AND ZUMAIA Breakfast. Situated between hills and the mouth of the Urumea River it is one of the prettiest cities of northern Spain. Its elegance and proximity to France, has made it a transit point for travelers. An open and cosmopolitan city that always offers its best face to the tourist, it is currently known internationally for its film festival. We will visit the Beach of the Concha and the historic center of the city. We will continue our journey along the Basque coast to Zumaia, where we will be able to contemplate the famous rock “El ratón (the mouse)”. We will continue on to Zarautz, a gorgeous coastal town whose main attractions are its landscapes and beaches. We will visit the town, whose streets are home to monuments of incalculable historic value. Return to the hotel in San Sebastián. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 7 SAN SEBASTIAN – LEKEITIO – ORDIZIA – BILBAO Breakfast. Departure for Lekeitio, a small fishing city with an idyllic port and a small beach. We will visit the city where we will see monuments from the 15th century. After the visit we will leave for Ordizia, famous for its weekly monument. The historic center of this town has been declared of heritage interest. Continuation to Bilbao. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 8 BILBAO – MADRID Breakfast. The city is protected among high hills, and divided in two districts by the Nervion River, and united by the Saint Anton Bridge. Bilbao flourished economically in the middle of the 19th century, due mainly to the mining and steel industries. We will take a tour through its streets where we will be able to view the most relevant monuments, and then we will visit the Guggenheim Museum. In the afternoon we will travel to Madrid. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 9 MADRID Breakfast. Transfer to the Airport at the designated time to embark on a scheduled flight hasta Our city de origin. End of services.
