THAILAND

DAY 1    MADRID – BANGKOK

Arrival to the international airport of Bangkok. Welcome and reception by our local personnel. Transfer to the Rembrandt Bangkok Hotel. Free time to rest. Lunch in the hotel. Departure to take a tour of the canals of Bangkok.  A walk through the canals is a perfect way to enjoy the view of authentic Thai houses with wooden structures.  We can also observe the life of dozens of merchants who gain their life in the river as fishermen or wandering salesmen that offer their products on wooden boats. Stop in the Temple of the Dawn (Wat Arun), one of the main Buddhist temples in Bangkok. Its name means Temple of the Dawn. 82 meters high, its central tower (prang is the tallest in Bangkok. The architecture of the temple is Khmer style and is reminiscent of the temples of Camboya. In the corners of the temple there are four prangs of lesser height. All of the towers of the Wat Arun are decorated with porcelain. Typical Thai dinner with dances in the Silom Town Restaurant. Lodging in the hotel

DAY 2    BANGKOK

Breakfast in the hotel. Tour of the Royal Palace, Temple of the Emerald Buddah. It is the    most important Buddhist Temple in Thailand, located in the historic center of Bangkok. Unlike other temples, it contains no place for the monks to live, but rather it only has richly decorated sacred buildings, statues and pagodas.  Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, technical meeting. Dinner in boat on the river. Lodging in the hotel.

DAY 3    BANGKOK

Breakfast. Tour of the Floating Market Damnoen Saduak and Rose Garden, a traditional Thai town reconstructed with 24 hectares of garden and more than 20,000 rose bushes in which Thai crafts are shown.  Lunch in a local restaurant. Return to Bangkok.  Formal dinner in a local restaurant with 2 hours of dancing, DJ and open bar. Lodging

DAY 4    BANGKOK – CHIANG MAI

Breakfast and departure for Chiang Mai, largest and most significantly cultural city of the North of Thailand where more than 300 buddhist temples are housed. Transfer to the hotel. Time for refreshing. Lunch in the hotel. Panoramic tour of the city and temples of Chiang Mai. Dinner and lodging

DAY 5    CHIANG MAI

Breakfast in the hotel. Tour of the elephant camp with a show to enjoy the  intelligence of these gigantic mammals, its fortress and its strategy of working in team. Elephant ride.  Lunch in a local restaurant. Visit a tribe of the Giraffe women, one of the most curious tribes in Thailand. Dinner in the hotel. Lodging

DAY 6    CHIANG MAI – PHUKET

Breakfast and transfer to the airport to take the flight a Phuket. Arrival in Phuket. Lunch.  Transfer to the hotel. Afternoon free. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 7    PHUKET

Breakfast in the hotel. Lunch and Dinner included during the sat. Time to enjoy the facilities or to take an optional excursion* (See the paragraph on optional excursions). Lodging.

DAY 8 PHUKET – BANGKOK – MADRID

Breakfast in the hotel. Lunch in the hotel and transfer to the airport for departure to Madrid. END OF TRIP
