DAY 1 MADRID – ASTORGA – LOWER RÍAS Meet at the agreed upon time to leave by coach for Astorga. Arrival in Astorga, lovely city in which the Episcopal Palace, constructed originally in the times of Doña Urraca and given to the Bishop by Don Pelayo, stands out. Its grayish chromaticism makes it stand out against the Cathedral. Lunch. After lunch we will continue on to Lower Rías. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 2 LOWER RÍAS Breakfast and departure in order to take a full day excursion to Santiago de Compostela and A Coruña. Arrival in Santiago, Panoramic tour of this lovely city. Nicknamed the Jerusalem of the West, it is a matchless meeting point for pilgrims. We will see Obradoiro Square, dominated by the tall facade of the Cathedral, crowned in turn by it two 76 meter-tall towers exposed to the city. To the left of the facade of the Shrine, the Archbishopric occupies the Medieval Gelmirez Palace. Lunch in restaurant. In the afternoon we will continue on to A Coruña, considered the “balcony of the Atlantic.”. Stroll with the famous balconies reflected in the dock, the Tower of Hercules, the old part and the port. Return to Lower Rías. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 3 LOWER RÍAS – PONTEVEDRA – VIGO – PORTO Breakfast and departure for Porto traveling through Pontevedra, where the Church of the Virgin Pilgrim stands out. We will continue to Vigo, small city paved with lots of flavor. Lunch and continuation of the journey to Porto. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 4 PORTO – COIMBRA – FÁTIMA Breakfast and departure for Porto, city know for its typical wine. Continuation of the trip to Coimbra, third largest city of Portugal, with its sinuous streets and hanging houses where you can still breathe and hear the old Fado. Free time to see this pretty city. Lunch. Continuation of the trip to Fátima. Free time to visit the Shrine and attend the torch processions. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 5 FÁTIMA- BATALHA – ALCOBAÇA – NAZARE – LISBON Breakfast and departure for Batalha. Free time to visit the Monastery of Saint Mary of the Victory, true jewel of Portuguese architectural heritage. Continuation of the trip to Alcobaça in which the Alcobaça Monastery stands out among the other monuments. Continuation to Nazaré, lovely fishing town ge. Lunch. We will continue our trip on to Lisbon. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 6 LISBON Breakfast and departure to take a panoramic tour of this lovely city, capital of this district and the Republic, situated on the banks of the Tagus Estuary: The Hieronymites Monastery, Belem Tower, Rossio Square, the Lisbon Greenhouse, etc. Lunch. Afternoon free to continue visiting the corners and squares of Lisbon. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 7 LISBON Breakfast and departure in order to take a full day excursion with lunch to Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. Return to Lisbon. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 8 LISBON – MÉRIDA – MADRID Breakfast. Departure for the border on the way to Mérida. Arrival in Mérida, to make a brief stop and view the Roman ruins, among them theater and the amphitheater. Lunch. Continuation of the trip to Madrid. Arrival and end of services.
